my creative energy requires many different mediums

my madly eclectic little shop is constantly evolving - adapting to meet the needs of customers - fueled by my inherent desire to experience new creative outlets.

opened in 2006 - I consistently aspire to make certain each and every customer loves their MOD13 purchase. expressing my creativity through textiles and graphics truly brings joy to each day!

trained by absorbing the talents of experts around me, continually being inquisitive, researching, reading, learning and developing as I go.

the shop as it exists today consists of me & 3 assistants.

there is a fabulous fulfillment in the variety each day brings. I especially love customer collaboration - bringing ideas to life with a unique graphic or textile design. I take particular joy in creating for happy occasions.

I began working with textiles at the age of 5 when my German grandmother, an avid quilter who called me Sniklefritz, helped me create my very first quilt blocks with iron-on transfers and crayons. my love of sewing came from hours spent watching and learning from my mother who made the most MOD fashions ever for my Barbies.

13 is my birthday and marks the beginning of a new year for me. Fall - my favorite time of year, the time of year when I make my pilgrimage to New York and the excitement of the upcoming holiday season begins.

my love for modern - contemporary, mid-century and all things with modern simplicity engaged my interest in graphic layout. self-taught in the world of illustrator and photoshop I continue to refine my graphic design skills each day.

the perfect end to the day comes in shipping creations all over the world, always with the wish that I could accompany the package on its journey ~ especially when it will land in NYC. a Colorado native - but truly convinced that I am destined to dwell somewhere very near Manhattan someday.

we LOVE custom, that is why we offer so many options, HOWEVER ... we can't issue refunds or accept returns simply because you are not happy with your custom choices - PLEASE reach out and ask questions about how your custom choices will look on the item you have ordered BEFORE you place your order. PLEASE ask for proofs and photos!
PAYMENT: Payment can be made directly through Etsy. Items will not be created until your payment is complete.

If your state requires it - you will be charged tax.

Items will ship via USPS First class Mail. If you would like your order to include insurance to cover loss - you MUST select USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Express Mail as your method of shipment. If USPS loses your package and the loss can be tracked through the USPS website, it is NOT the responsibility of the shop to replace your lost item. The shop can file a claim with USPS to recover the cost for you only if it is shipped via USPS Priority or USPS Priority Express Mail only (not USPS First Class).

Most items are shipped via USPS first class mail. If you would like your items insured or shipped via another method (UPS or FED EX) please send a convo to the shop with your request and you will receive a quote for the amount of the additional shipping or insurance charges. If you agree to the shipping charges, an invoice for the additional shipping charges will be sent to you.

ALL orders are custom made when ordered. If you need to receive your order ASAP, please NOTIFY THE SHOP OF YOUR NEED BY DATE VIA CONVO AFTER YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. During busy times, it can take longer than estimated to ship orders.
