I started this business about 5 years ago, when I was laid off from my job, like so many others at that time. I was left with excess time when I wasn't busy applying for jobs, and decided to design and create some jewelry and see if my friends and family would be interested in buying to help support us while I looked for new employment. It went so well, I decided to take a go at it full-time, and opened up my Etsy store! I kept very busy selling at craft fairs and home parties, I couldn't believe I was doing something I loved so much and getting paid for it! Two years ago, I was forced to take a break from my fun creations because I was offered an opportunity that I could not refuse. Now that this opportunity is over, I am more excited than ever to be back to wonderful world of wearable art! I look forward to making new friends and becoming an active member of Etsy once again!
