I am so happy with my shoes! I was very hesitant to order wedding shoes online, but I couldn't find anything I liked in the store. They fit like a glove and are even better than I thought they would be. Can't wait to wear them!! :)

This summer Becca & Louise surpassed 1000 sales! This photo is a sweet reminder of the amazing brides I have worked with from all over the globe. It has been an honor to work with women from Australia, to Israel, to Canada, and back here to the States.
Back-to-back Mini Louise orders -- my fave! Each pair is elegant and one-of-a-kind. It's the perfect "something old" and "something new" for the walk down the aisle (and may I add, these flats fit like house slippers! Oh so comfy :)
The Jaclyn design all spiced up with Swarovski crystals, pearl beads, and more Venice lace! This custom order is not only gorgeous but comfortable too with the wedge heel and adjustable ankle strap.

How {Becca & Louise} Came To Be

From a very young age I started using needle and thread to create little crafts and gifts. My Nana, or formally known as Louise, was not only the grandmother I received my middle name after, but she was the one that inspired me to work with lace and fabric.

A couple years following her passing I was engaged and I wanted to find a way to have a piece of Louise walking me down the aisle. So I gathered together her crafty things and came across her handmade lace handkerchiefs. I used her lace to embellish my wedding shoes and a matching hairpiece. My vintage creations were such a success that I was encouraged by others to start a shop.

Since the beginning of Becca & Louise my shop has grown from having only a couple design options to now providing brides with a wide range of styles. Currently I am working with authentic French Alencon lace and Venice lace in addition to the original vintage lace handkerchiefs my shop was founded on. My hope is to provide the Etsy Wedding community with more lace shoe options; so whether a bride is looking for a vintage or modern lace shoe, she can easily find both in my shop.

Becca & Louise is a made-to-order custom lace and handkerchief wedding shoe shop that strives to provide beautiful high-quality wedding shoes and responsive service to its customers. Each pair of shoes is embellished with time and care. I understand the importance of details and personalization for your wedding day, so I aim to provide that with each customer I work with!

Welcome to Becca & Louise.
Due to being a full-time Etsy mom please allow 24 hours for me to respond to emails and around 4 weeks for orders to ship.

After little success in trying to find lace wedding shoes for my own wedding, I started to design and embellish lace wedding shoes in my little studio at home. My custom lace shoes are made with only the finest materials - lace imported from France, shimmery organza lace, ornate Venice lace, Swarovski crystals - these materials will only add rarity and value to your wedding day attire.

Each shoe design is crafted with the bride in mind. My product is unique, original, and one that will make a statement on your wedding day.

All packages are scheduled to ship in 4 weeks from order date. Sale purchases are scheduled to ship in 1-2 days from purchase date.

US orders are shipped through the USPS Priority Mail with 2-3 day delivery, tracking number, and some insurance. Please inquire for more details and if you want to pay for additional insurance.

I am unable to guarantee that a package will ship any earlier than 4 weeks. At this time I do not advertise rush or express shipping for US orders. However let me know if you need your order a few days earlier than scheduled and I will try my best to reschedule a new ship date.

International orders are shipped through USPS First Class Mail. First Class International comes with delivery confirmation (for select countries) but I still highly recommend paying for insurance as it is not included. International orders through USPS First Class Mail typically arrive within 3-4 weeks from shipping date, so plan accordingly.

All international orders are eligible for USPS Express International with a 3-5 day delivery and Priority International 6-10 day delivery. Both of these shipping methods are for an additional cost and include delivery confirmation (for select countries) and some insurance. Contact me for more details.

Becca & Louise is not responsible for custom fees, taxes, tariffs, etc. I will do my part in labeling your package properly using the shipping address and method requested, but once your package ships it is completely out of my hands and the responsibility of the postal service and the buyer. However if your package is lost or damaged during transit please file a claim with the postal service and let me know as I am willing to work with you too.
Refunds and Exchanges
Each pair of shoes is made to order/customized, dyed, and embellished to the bride's specifications; therefore there are restrictions on returns and refunds.

No returns and refunds, only exchanges.

Custom Design Orders (a shop design that is altered --such as a different brooch or lace-- and a new design created for a bride) are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged due to their custom nature.

Sale/clearance shoes can be returned for a partial refund. Shipping charges and a $7 Etsy processing fee will be subtracted from the refund. Bride must contact shop owner within THREE (3) days of receiving the package in order to be eligible. Shoes much be returned in original packaging and a shipping method that provides a tracking number. Bride will pay for return shipping. Refund will be issued when returned shoes are received.

Otherwise all Becca & Louise signature shop designs can be exchanged for a different size. I will not accept exchanged shoes that have been used, worn, or damaged in any way. When trying on your shoes, please walk on carpet as a way to protect the sole and heel.

Please contact me within THREE (3) days of receiving your shoes in order to be eligible for an exchange. I have this policy in place out of respect of your time and mine.

When processing the exchange, the buyer will just pay for shipping both ways. An exchange listing will be purchased by the buyer to cover the cost of shipping the new shoes to the bride. The returned shoes must be returned in original packaging (plastic baggies, tissue paper, and shoe box) and shipped in original mailer. USPS, UPS, or a FedEx mailer with a tracking number is also acceptable if original mailer cannot be used. Returned package shoes must be received before new shoes are shipped; therefore it is important to include a tracking number with your returned shoes.

I have these policies in place due to the custom nature of my product and because my Etsy shop is a business.

{ notes on shoe COLOR }
I highly recommend you send me images/examples of the colors you want so I can compare and contrast your color options.

Colors on computer screens varies, so all photos are taken with studio or natural lighting for the most accurate display of color. Due to the luster and shimmer of satin fabric, I try my very best to capture each color with accuracy.

Color swatches and dyed shoes will have slight differences in color due to lighting, the fabric, dye lots, and the fact that each pair is hand-dyed. I am more than happy to send you photos of my color charts in various lighting.

{ notes on shoe SIZE }
All shoes are US women's shoe sizes.

Based off personal experience and reviews, I feel these shoes run true to size.

Even though you can exchange for a different size I highly recommend that you measure your feet. I have an international shoe size chart that you can use, just ask for it through an Etsy email. To properly measure you feet, trace your longest foot on a piece of paper and then measure your tracing from heel to toe in centimeters for an accurate measurement. Compare this number to my size chart and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Due to the nature of ordering shoes online, the size chosen is the responsibility of the buyer. I will do my best to assist you in selecting the size that is best for you.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I am more than happy to create a custom design for you using my manufacturer's shoes and lace, or even using materials that you provide (such as family heirloom lace, a pair of shoes, etc.) However, I feel that my forte is strictly with lace and simple embellishments, therefore there are some custom work that I don't feel qualified to do. Please contact me with your ideas and questions.

Sizing details

I have attached a size chart in my shop policies that you can use as a guide to measure your feet and compare shoe sizes. Please use this only as a guide. Also, I highly recommend looking at the shoes you currently wear and use that size as a guide to select a US shoe size from my shop.

Care instructions

All of my dyeable shoes are made with a water soluble dye; therefore, it is important to keep them dry and away from moisture. Sometimes dyed shoes will rub off onto your skin after being worn for a while; this is normal and to be expected with a custom made shoe. I recommend brides to spray their shoes with a water-resistant spray if this and moisture exposure are a concern.
