Hand made wheel thrown pottery and porcelain earrings

I started my Etsy shop with the hopes of meeting a larger audience. I wanted Etsy to work for me. Its hard work being the designer, maker, janitor, technician, photographer, marketing genius and seller all in one role! So having loved others shops on Etsy, the sellers efforts they go to brand themselves to sell and be successful from this site is amazing! We as artists are lucky to have a place to do that so easily. Its rewarding and worthwhile when you ship a product you made by hand to the other side of the world! Shoppers choose you from a picture, to me this is fascinating when handmade art is usually felt, admired in person- the shoppers have great trust in the makers and its a very cool dynamic!

I have been creating art my entire life. Its just part of me. I have always felt a challenge inside me to always be able to draw objects to a perfect likeness, build things, paint and to create ceramic objects. I was always encouraged by my parents and from that enrolled in a ceramic program at Sheridan College. I have been making and selling for 13 years in my studio beside my other job as a manager of a successful pottery supply business. I love what I do and am fortunate to live breathe and be challenged in what I love every day!

I am a ceramic artist working in Kitchener Ontario Canada. I have a wonderful studio, and try to get as much time in there as possible! I love what I do and I am very fortunate to have the luxury of working, living and breathing ceramics!

All of my pottery is hand made by myself. All of the work is made from porcelain clay and fired twice (sometimes 3) in two different kilns. The first is the electric kiln and the second is the outdoor gas kiln. All of the saggar fired pottery does not have a glaze on it, therefore it is not food safe nor will it hold water. They are for decoration only.

For more information on the firing process and other examples please visit my website

Returns and exchanges
Sorry there are no refunds. If you find that your piece has been broken in shipping, you will need to send me a digital image of any breakage asap in order for me to send a replacement.
My pottery is packaged very spicifically in bubble wrap, cardboard, peanuts and another box. No failures yet with this method- knock on wood! Unfortunately some mail carriers can be less than careful and things happen. In this case we will work something out to have another shipment reach you. I try my best to get the best rates for my customers. If you have concerns regarding shipping rates, please get in touch with me and I will see what I can do.
