About

We DIY so you don't have to!

When I got married several years ago, I loved the idea of all things DIY but when it came down to it – I didn’t have time to execute most of the projects I wanted to. Enter Be Collective. It’s my hope to foster a brand that allows brides to integrate DIY touches into their weddings even if they’re not the ones DIY-ing (it’s okay – your secret is safe with me!).

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Due to the custom nature of our business refunds will not be given unless there is an error made by Be Collective. Please be sure to allow plenty of time for delivery for special events. Be Collective will ship items within the time frames specified at purchase but if orders are placed with little to no wiggle room we are not liable for post office delays or errors, bad weather or delays due to other unforseen circumstances. Orders shipped without insurance are not covered by USPS. If you do not receive your package please contact us immediately so we can investigate with USPS. Be Collective cannot be responsible for packages that don't arrive on time if we have not been contacted.

Customization (including but not limited to custom wording, custom designs and heart placement for state outline bags): Be Collective creates orders based on what is provided in the comments box at checkout. Please ensure your custom text is spelled correctly and any special layout requests are clearly stated. For state outline bags, if a city location isn't provided we will either print the heart as shown in the listing photo OR in your city as provided via your shipping address, this choice is at our discretion.

In the instance that a return of non-customized bags is agreed upon there will be a 20% restocking fee and the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Initial shipping costs cannot be refunded. Non customized returns are approved at the discretion of Be Collective and are made on a case by case basis. If we have already begun working on your order and/or made your bags we cannot accept an order cancellation.

Cancellation requests will be responded to and only processed upon confirmation of request from the customer. Items that have shipped prior to receipt of a cancellation request are subject to the afore mentioned 20% restocking fee and the buyer is responsible for all shipping fees.
Payment
I accept Direct Checkout and Paypal.

Cancelation requests are not a guarantee that your order is cancelled. Because we strive for quick turn around times, your order is often made within an hour of you placing it. Sometimes quicker! In the event we have already made and packaged your order, please contact us to discuss return options. All returns are subject to a restocking fee. Custom orders (orders with custom wording or initials) cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Shipping
Most of our items are handmade to order. Please note that larger orders (50+ bags) or custom requests may require additional production time. If you have a tight deadline, please contact me before placing your order (if you need quicker than two weeks, please let me know!). Custom orders typically take at least two weeks to produce. I cannot stress enough the importance of contacting me if you are on a tight turn around. I can typically accommodate rush orders but must be looped in!

Please note that Be Collective cannot be responsible for orders shipped late due to lack of information being provided by the buyer. In order for your items to ship on time it is imperative we are provided with all information needed to complete the order (i.e. initials, heart location etc). Refunds will not be provided in these instances.

DOMESTIC (USA) ORDERS ~
USPS First Class is the default shipping method (3-5 days). First Class mail does not include insurance so please contact me if you'd like to add it and I can give you a quote. Be Collective is not responsible for packages that aren't insured. Due to weight some orders automatically ship Priority (2-3 days). Please send a message if you would like to upgrade to Priority or Express (1-2 days).

Please keep an eye on your tracking info, we have no way of knowing if there has been a shipping snafu unless we hear from you. If your package is a few days late, please reach out so we can point you in the right direction to research. Be Collective cannot be responsible for missing packages if we aren't contacted within 7 days of their missed delivery date.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ~
Buyer is responsible for any and all customs fees and taxes. Be Collective does not mark shipments as "gift". Be Collective is not responsible for any delays due to the customs process - which can vary greatly from country to country.

Orders are shipped via USPS International First Class which can be as speedy as 1 week or take as long as 3 weeks. Please send a message if you would like to upgrade to a quicker shipping method. First Class does not include insurance, please let me know if you would like to insure your package and I can give you a price quote. Be Collective is not responsible for packages that have not been insured.

First Class International Shipping does not provide a ton of tracking information once the packages leaves the US, the upgraded shipping methods do.

Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that our bags can vary every so slightly in size (up to a quarter of an inch). This is a manufacturer allowance and is out of control.

Be sure your shipping address is correct before submitting your order! If you provide an incorrect address your order will be cancelled and we will need you to repurchase with the correct information. If an incorrect address is provided, please note that you need to request a cancellation on your order. We are not responsible for items that are shipped to the original address provided if a cancellation is not processed.

Any items photographed with our bags are strictly used as props and are not included.

CUSTOM ORDERS: I gladly accept custom orders! Please note that any variations to the designs as seen in the shop do come with a custom design fee, please inquire for a price quote before placing order.

Can you print my business or wedding logo?

Most likely, yes! Please send us your artwork in a convo and we can let you know if it's doable/discuss pricing with you.

Do you offer RUSH processing and shipping?

Absolutely! Please get in touch with us before ordering and we will be happy to get bags out to you ASAP.
