Announcement    Hello. Times are tough right now but I'm so happy you came by. My toys are designed to create a sense of JOY and I think we can all use a little bit of that at the moment. Sustainability is also important to me so everything I make is made with either secondhand fabrics (recycled, thrifted clothing) or new eco-friendly fabrics. I hope that looking at my toys reminds you that childhood doesn't have to end just because you've grown up. Come play.

(Let me know if you have any questions or would like to request something custom-made. I'm happy to help you find what you are looking for. If you have questions about shipping times, I am also glad to work with you to accommodate shipping times. )

This doll was inspired by Frida Kahlo and her cultural heritage. It is a two-faced doll--one side representing Frida in life, and the other a Day of the Dead version of Frida. She is one of kind and the only one currently available in my shop.
What if a chicken was inspired by vintage Jackie Kennedy? This is my imagining of that scenario. Made from an upcycled wool tweed suit jacket, this chicken also come with a purse a chick in half-shell and an egg on toast. Wacky, but magical.
Times are tough right now, for everyone, everywhere. It feels little useless to be a toymaker right now, but what I can do is design for JOY—to create a sense of wonder & whimsy through my designs. I hope this Rainbow Cloud gives you a little joy today.

WHIMSY + HANDMADE + SECONDHAND STUFF + HAPPY COLORS + LOVE = BEEPER BÉBÉ TOYS, PLUSHIES & WEE CONFECTIONS

I want kiddos to experience the magic of rainbows, make-believe, and sweet dreams. I want to be kind to the earth and use what already exists. I want big people to know that childhood doesn’t have to end just because they’ve grown up. My toys, plushies and other wee confections are designed with whimsy, vibrant colors and happy details, then handcrafted from secondhand stuff and eco-friendly fabrics in order to make all of these dreams come true.

I've been designing and creating things with what I had around me for longer than I can remember, but at some point, I decided that doing something arts-based with my life was impractical and probably impossible. It took the birth of my son to bring it back out into the light. I was inspired and wanted to make beautiful and unique toys for him. When he was a baby, I would take him to the thrift store with me and I started seeing the clothes differently--the racks of brightly striped tees became a rainbow of fat little bunnies, the yellow wool sweater was a chicken plushie...and that's how this began.

I’ve been reducing, re-using & amusing with Beeper Bébé designs for over 10 years now. In 2019 I finally decided it was time to make this my REAL full time job (even though it never ever feels like a job--just like I now live in the most magical land made up of toys, imagination and thrift stores every single day!)

Made for little people and the little people inside of big people. Come play.

I hand-make toys, plushies and wee confections from secondhand stuff. In between, I listen to vinyl and drink whiskey. I also love to cook appetizers, bake cookies, grow veggies, be in the outdoors, visit Universal Studios, and just PLAY.
