Hi and welcome to BEHIND THE GREEN DESK! My name is Sarah Newton and I'm the creator of Behind The Green Desk, where I create custom and personalized painted wood signs.

A little about me; I'm a wife, mother and a registered nurse. We live on 11 acres and love the slow simple country life. I give a little small town farmhouse love in every piece I make!

My love for wood and painting all came after becoming a mother. I was giving 100% to my family and leaving nothing for myself. As a birthday gift, my husband bought me a spot in a painting class learning about chalk paint. I redid a GREEN hutch and a DESK and fell completely in love with wood and painting! And that is how BEHIND THE GREEN DESK was born! 💕

I do not offer returns/exchanges on custom or personalized orders but I will be happy to send a digital image of your design prior to making it. We will work together on the design until you're satisfied with it and once you have given your approval of the design, I will then start making it.
