Enamel And Sterling Silver Handcrafted Jewelry
beinthemoment's Shop Policies
Thanks for visiting be in the moment. All work is handmade by me in my Brooklyn studio. The art and process of enameling is such that each piece is unique. This is part of the beauty of the jewelry. No piece will match the photo 100%, unless of course I send you the original that the photo is based on!
I do not use brass or nickel. Many people, including myself, have negative reactions to those metals, and I do not want to sacrifice quality for price. This is why I use sterling silver chains and earrings, and the copper is always enameled on both sides.
Paypal or etsy check-out is the preferred method of payment for my etsy shop. I cannot ship an item until it is paid for.
I reserve the right to cancel an order and relist the item if payment is not received within one week and/or no response has been made to any inquires from me regarding payment status.
In New York State, 8.875% tax will be applied to your order. This is the current tax rate for NYC, and also the highest rate. If you are ordering from another county in the state, I would be happy to refund you the difference in tax if you notify me what county you live in and the current tax rate there.
I send all items in the US via priority mail with delivery confirmation. If you have another shipping preference, please contact me and I will try to work something out.
Each item listed gives an approximate ship time based upon whether the item is in stock or must be made to order. In stock items generally ship within 2 business days. Items made to order ship within one week of the purchase date.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will provide exchanges for another item of equal value in the first 30 days if for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase.
Damaged items: In the first 30 days, I will replace broken chains, jump rings, and ear wires (I must receive the damaged item back in order to do so.) After 30 days, there will be a $10 minimum repair fee for these items.
For enamel repair: Enamel is made from glass that has been fused to metal. This means it is fragile. I send out enamel care instructions with each piece of jewelry.
If you receive a piece that has been damaged in transit, contact me immediately and I will repair or replace it for you (again, I will need the original back first).
If your enamel gets chipped or cracked, I will be happy to try to repair it for you. The charge for this repair is $10 and up, depending on what work needs to be done.
