Shipping
I try to ship purchases within one to two business days of your order.
When shipping journals within the United States, I send them Media Mail in order to keep costs down. It is a little bit slower. If you would like me to ship it faster, please let me know and we can work it out.

For custom orders, please allow two weeks for me to ship the item. Most items will get out sooner than that, but some weeks get busy around here.

For made to order stamps, please allow one week for me to make and ship it. I'll get it out faster than that if I can.

For international buyers, please note that I will mark my items as "merchandise" on the customs form. Depending on your country's policy, that may mean that you will be charged taxes when you pick it up.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are less than delighted with your purchase, please send me a message so that we can work it out.

I will accept returns sent within 30 days of my shipment so long as the item is still in good condition, but you will be responsible for the cost of returning it to me. If you would like an exchange, please message me so we can work that out.

I'm afraid I will not accept returns for stamps or journals that have been improperly cared for. Please see the "caring for stamps" section below.

I will also not be able to accept returns for custom ordered stamps if they contain names or dates, etc. I will approve a design with you before I make the stamp.
Additional policies and FAQs
All pieces are created by hand, so no two items are identical. That’s the beauty of both the hand carved stamps and handmade journals. At times I like to let the "process" show through a bit, for example, leaving some of the etching marks in the print of the stamp. If you see those marks in any of the photos and would rather have them removed, please let me know and I'd be happy to do it. With the journals that tends to look more like stained or faded covers (because they are often made with very old books). I think that is part of the character of each journal, but please make sure that you look at the pictures closely so that you know what you are getting.

Custom Books:
I love working on custom, whether it's a travel journal or a wedding guest book, they are among my favourite projects. Please send me a message if you'd like to work with me. Often someone will send me a book that they have found and I will rebind it with different paper. Pricing for custom books depends on the size of the book, type of paper, whether you send me the book or I buy it, and whatever other details you might want (pockets, closures, etc).

Custom stamps:
I would love to make you a custom stamp if you would like. My stamps have been used in weddings for stamping CD covers (favours), programs and even wine bottles. The stamp will be priced based on size and intricacy. Please message me if you are interested.

Caring for stamps:
If one of my stamps is properly cared for it will last for years, but there are certain precautions you can take to make sure that it does:
- It is not necessary to wash the stamp between every use unless you are changing colors, but either way, when washing, simply run it under water and rub it gently with your fingers (don't scrub it!).
- store the stamp in a place where it will not be jostled around (and nicked) or in the sunlight. In the sun it can become hard or even melt.
- If you like you can mount the stamp on a piece of wood to make sure that it doesn't bend and get broken.
- the rubber is fun to play with, but if you play with it too much it might just break in half. Fear not though, if that happens (which it won't without some seriously rough play), you can glue it back together with super-glue and your prints will still come out perfectly.
