I opted for the 2mm band with wildflower engraving, because I never take my rings off, so am wearing them every day. The band is wonderfully sturdy and is paired with a gorgeous pale pink sapphire that I bought at the same time. I adore my rings, they're unique and I love knowing that no one else has exactly the same ring as I have. Belinda is so amazing to deal with, she is friendly, warm and accommodating in addition to being incredibly talented. Just a girl chasing her dreams...
:: My story ::
My family tree is filled with creative people...calligrapher, artist, designer, blacksmith, inventor, photographer, magazine editor...
With creativity handed down through the generations, it is little wonder that working with my hands has always felt natural…from whittling wood on family camping trips, to drawing and painting throughout my childhood, to my present obsession…modern adornments hand fabricated from precious metal and stone.
A jewellery-making class in high school sparked a yearning to become a jeweller, but the dream was pushed aside and lay dormant for many years until my daughter, India, was born in 2007. Being at home with her allowed me the time and freedom to rediscover my creative roots. I began with beads and thread, a quiet hobby to pass the time while my baby slumbered. But metal and flame was where I truly wanted to be, and so I read everything about metalsmithing that I could lay my hands on. The first sterling silver piece I created was in September 2010, 14 years after my initial yearnings to make jewellery. I launched my business right here on Etsy in February 2011 with my premiere collection, *Moroccan Odyssey*…a colourful and bohemian melding of beads and sterling silver, inspired by Moroccan design and culture.
Being completely self-taught in metalsmithing has been so very satisfying, and it has allowed me to develop my own style and techniques at a pace that suits me (and around the demands of raising two energetic children!). It also means that my range of jewellery is ever-evolving. Whilst I adore embellishment-rich adornments that make a statement, I am equally enamoured with a sliver of gold wrapped around one's finger…a little piece of everyday indulgence.
What began as a dream 17 years ago, is now my glorious, rewarding, everyday reality. I pinch myself hard and often!
:: My inspiration ::
The inherent beauty of gemstones means that, more often than not, they are the only inspiration I need. I love that the personal nature of jewellery allows the wearer to have a connection and interaction with these special treasures that were, and are, of the earth.
I am also inspired by: geometric shapes, natural history, travel, cultures, archaeology, celestial bodies, bohemia, patterns, art, mother nature, colour, and the world around me.
:: My studio ::
I live surrounded by greenery overlooking a bay in southern Sydney. My studio is here at home, a light and lovely space of white walls and polished honey-toned wooden floors. It is a sanctuary of inherited antiques and treasures that are close to my heart. I work from a bench that was lovingly crafted by my husband, and many of the tools I use were once worked by my Grandpa's expert hands.
I live here with my beautiful little family….my ever-supportive husband, Anthony, and our darling children, India and Jett. I couldn't navigate this beautiful journey without their daily love, support and understanding.
Nor could I without the same from you. I hope you find a little something here that resonates with you. Thank you for making a little part of my story, a beautiful part of yours. I wish you many delightful adventures together!

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, please send me a message within 48 hours of receipt, so that we can come to a mutually agreeable solution.
*** Please be aware that ONE OF A KIND and CUSTOM items (this includes all gemstone rings made in your own size and preferred gold/gemstone combination) items are not returnable and can not be exchanged as they were made specifically for you. I am unable to swap one gem for another should you change your mind. If you have any hesitation concerning a particular design, gemstone, etc, please get in touch BEFORE purchasing. Thank you for your understanding!
If you have ordered the incorrect ring size, please get in touch regarding resizing. Postage is payable at the buyers expense both ways.
If you have ordered the incorrect gold colour ie. you purchased a rose gold ring but wanted yellow gold, you may return the item for exchange. A re-stocking fee of 20% applies, and the buyer is responsible for postage costs both ways. Please note, this only applies to rings that DO NOT contain a gemstone. Rings containing a gemstone are unable to be exchanged or refunded.

Australia Post offers a very reliable delivery service and for the thousands of parcels I have sent around the world, I have only ever had a handful go missing. Please be aware that once a parcel leaves my hands, there is nothing I can do to speed up the delivery.

Due to the significant delays with worldwide shipping due to COVID-19, I don't consider a parcel to be lost until 12 WEEKS have passed from the date your parcel was posted. After this time, I will either refund you the purchase price or remake and resend your jewellery (if possible).

:: PACKAGING ::
My jewellery comes beautifully wrapped in my luxe matte black and gold foil gift box, perfect for gifting to yourself or someone special.
Multiple purchases, particularly rings, will be packaged in the same gift box to cut down on unnecessary waste. If you require each piece to be individually packed (especially in the case of gift-giving) please leave me a note in the 'Message to Seller' at checkout!
:: CARE OF YOUR JEWELLERY ::
All purchases come with my 'care package' which includes a small polishing pad and detailed care instructions. If your jewellery has a matte finish, you will also receive a small amount of steel wool which you can use to help restore and maintain the finish.

:: RING RESIZING ::
If you have ordered the incorrect ring size and need to return your ring to me for resizing, please contact me FIRST via convo or email { hello [at] belindasaville.com } before posting your ring back.
Please note that some rings are unable to be easily resized if they contain gemstones. Each resizing job needs to be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
I charge a fee of $30.00 for standard resizing jobs, and the customer is responsible for the payment of shipping costs to me, and also the return postage once their ring is resized.
If the resizing is not a standard job and requires the removal and subsequent re-setting of gemstones, I charge a $30 resizing fee PLUS my time at $30.00 per hour. The customer is also responsible for the payment of shipping costs to me, and also the return postage once their ring is resized.
I can't stress enough that it is always best to find out your ring size accurately before I start working on your beautiful ring!!! I sell reusable plastic ring sizers in my shop and they are a great way to determine your ring size. Otherwise, your local jewellery store is usually very happy to let you try on their ring sizers.

Frequently asked questions
Is your white gold jewellery rhodium plated?
No, I do not rhodium plate any of my white gold jewellery. Most white gold jewellery in chain stores, etc is rhodium-plated because it gives the ordinarily 'yellow' tinged natural white gold a bright 'white' appearance. It is a temporary treatment and the jewellery requires re-plating every 6-18 months depending on wear to maintain the white appearance. It is not a service that I offer because it requires a cocktail of hazardous chemicals and is unfortunately against my eco-friendly business practices! Therefore all of my white gold jewellery is natural and untreated, so it will appear different in colour when worn next to rhodium-plated pieces.
