Custom and personalized orders
All puzzles you see in my shop can be customized to some degree. That's what makes them special. If you'd like something other than what you see in the shop, please contact me.
How many puzzle pieces should you get?
[Number of guests] x [0.70] = approximate number of puzzle pieces.
Or, pick a puzzle in my shop. Flip through the images for that puzzle until you get to the one that shows you how many puzzle pieces to order for your number of guests.
Rush orders
Perhaps you'd like a puzzle to arrive earlier than it says it will in my shop? Rush orders are available IF I can find time to work overtime. A rush fee will apply. Please contact me if you require a rush order.
My "shop announcement" always has the most up-to-date info about my projected shipping and delivery dates for orders.
How big are the puzzles and the puzzle pieces?
Puzzle sizes vary depending on the number of pieces you order. More important than the final dimensions of the puzzle is the size of each puzzle piece. You'd like enough room for each guest to sign a name AND leave a short message, right? That's why I aim for a 2 x 2 inch size per puzzle piece.
Replacement pieces
I can make replacement pieces for most of my puzzles.
There is a replacement fee for each piece I replace. Also, you'll need to ship part or all of the original puzzle to me so I can create a replacement for your missing piece.
Contact me if you need replacements.
Sometimes I'm asked to make replacement pieces because a guest writes something inappropriate or ugly on a puzzle piece. Try using sandpaper to erase their writing. If that doesn't work, I'll be happy to make you a replacement piece. Might as well try to the free option first, though, right?
Are the names and dates painted on, engraved, etched on, or cut out?
They're CUT out of the wood, one piece at a time. Each letter or number is a tiny puzzle piece of its own.
Do the tiny letter- or number-shaped pieces count as "sign-able" pieces?
Nope. If it's a 20 piece puzzle, that means there are 20 large pieces for guests to sign. Letter-shaped or number-shaped puzzle pieces that make up any names or dates you've requested are IN ADDITION TO the sign-able puzzle pieces.
