My goal for Bella Sfera (Latin: Beautiful Sphere) is to create unique, timeless objects that will endure for generations. This was inspired by my early career as an Industrial Designer creating "throw-away" mass market consumer products. Twenty-five years and several career changes after the initial idea, I'm pursuing a passion for design, cartography and instrumentation by creating these world globes. I believe handcrafting in metal imparts an intrinsic value and durability that's not typical of most items produced today. And, since world globes are admired and collected by many it's my hope one of these beautiful spheres survives beyond our time.

Each globe is handcrafted by me using purpose made tools I've designed and built specifically for making globes.
