    Out of allergies comes inspiration!

    We started belle étoile jewellery with a passion for jewellery. Maybe a bit of frustration. You see, Rachel wanted to wear cute jewellery, but couldn't because of skin allergies to what materials were out on the market.

    So, taking matters into her own hands, she started making her own, with plenty of learning and experimenting of her own. And she has never looked back.

    Everything we make is unique, wearable, and perfect for most situations. We rarely make repeats of our items, thus ensuring that you have a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery. No one will have a piece exactly like yours. So, whether it's black-tie to hanging out with friends on the beach, we have you covered.

      Rachel is a thirty-someting creative, passionate about materials, historical influence, and quality. She is also a member of the SCA, and is inspired not only by pre-1600s styles of jewellery, but also modern, fresh interpretations of them.

    We here at belle étoile jewellery believe in creating amazing, one-of-a-kind pieces, using semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, and many other materials. We also believe that every occasion should have jewellery, whether it be a casual, jeans and tee shirt event to upscale, black-tie glitz and glam.

    We specialise in creating not only one-of-a-kind pieces, but historically-inspired ones as well, especially those suitable for pre-1600s reenactment and recreation.

    Accepted payment methods

    Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
    Returns and exchanges
    Not satisfied by your item? It's understandable. If this ever happens, you have fifteen days to send the item back, plus all original packaging, back to our workshop with your reason for returning. Items may not have been worn, used, or otherwise abused (and trust us, we can tell), otherwise, we will not be able to refund you.

    Custom orders are final, due to their nature of being custom products.
    Payment
    We take payment through direct-pay, personal checques, and money orders only. If you pay with checque or money order, we will wait until payment has arrived and cleared before we send your items your way.

    Please pay when you buy, or convo me so that we know you intend to buy it.

    If your item is not paid for within three days, we will consider it unwanted, and will repost. This includes custom items.
    Shipping
    We ship using USPS First Class or priority for domestic orders, and Airmail for international. If this is the case, please convo us, and we will work out payment.

    We package everything as carefully as we can in sturdy boxes or bubble mailers, depending on the size, so that your order gets to you in the condition in which it left my workshop. If your item arrives in poor condition, please send it back, and we will either fix it, make arrangements to return your money, or make you a piece of equal value.
    Additional policies and FAQs
    We -love- doing special orders. Love love love it. If there's something you like, but it's the wrong colour, shape, or even metals, or you want a custom piece, we're always willing to do one. Please convo us, and we'll work out the details with you.
