She attended the school “L’ Academia delle Arte Orafe” in Rome and completed 3 courses in Basic metal jewelry making, lost wax technique, and basic stone setting.
In 2011 Hoda moved back to Beirut (Lebanon). She re-connected with her background and enjoyed the wonderful creativity wave that is hovering over Beirut. She Joined the Jewelry Technology Institute of Lebanon (JTIL) where she completed the Jewelry design drawing course as well as the computer GemVision Matrix design course.
BELLINATS started in 2014 in Hoda's basement in Bethesda MD. With some advice from professional jewelers and friends, Hoda started using various techniques such as Keum boo, silver oxidization, patinas and stamping. Every piece is created with tender loving care and is unique to add grace and glitter to your beauty.
“This art is ancient like history, but you never stop learning. There is always an exciting technique to learn and try”.
I design and make my jewelry. I use Sterling Silver, gem stones and beads. Each piece is unique and professionally finished. Lately I have been experimenting with dichroic glass. There is no end to creativity.
