Welcome to Belrose Design.
I am a published author & illustrator and have been writing and illustrating children's picture books for over 10 years.
I set up Belrose Design, named after my two lovely daughters Isabella and Rosa, to create unique custom portraits, illustrations and printable art as I love creating items that are very personal and special. Every custom portrait is hand drawn by myself, using your photographs as a reference. Your child or family member can be drawn as anything you can imagine from fairies and princesses to superheroes and villains. Illustrations of pets can be realistic or stylized with vibrant colours. My prints and digital downloads are all from my original artwork, more of which can be seen at www.ffijones.com. I am also the co-director of Nurse Ted Ltd where I write and illustrate stories for a series of books explaining cancer and other serious illnesses to children - www.nurseted.com. I run my Etsy shop alongside this and love every second of both projects! I have also recently set up a new shop on Etsy specialising in Welsh gifts (having just moved back to Wales!). "GiftsWales" focuses on unique gifts from Wales for every occasion.
