About

Jewelry & Leather Goods for the Native Spirit

I am a stay at home mom who traveled and lived abroad doing some modeling work and assisting in a jewelry boutique in London. I moved back to the States and started a family. My youngest are twins so my life is somewhat hectic. Not much time for traveling abroad anymore...unless of course we can finally make it to Kenya so my kids can meet more of their family.
For now I've decided that traveling through my work and revisiting places I've been allowed my creativity to bloom. I started Beltshazzar Jewels a couple years ago, doing festivals in St. Louis and the Chicago area where I got to meet a lot of great artists and grow my concept in the meantime.
I am inspired by nature, color, texture, & music! I am especially fond of the 70's and have a love for vintage jeans, turquoise, leather, and anything Native American, Tribal people & the Masai. I incorporate some of my American Indian heritage in my work as I love natural elements of feathers, leather, bone, horn, and seeds from the Amazon. My mixed heritage guides me to create from a free spirit. My Great Grandpa was German and had a cobbler shop here in the States where he designed leather moccasins for the Indians and Buffalo Bill traveled miles just so Grandpa could make his boots!
I hope you enjoy trekking the earth as much as I do!

While living abroad I began my journey assisting in a jewelry boutique in London. I fell in love with jewelry making, all the different techniques & mixing of textures. I started my own jewelry & leather accessories line a few years ago and voila!
