Announcement    I learned to crochet on a tour bus. That's right a tour bus. My seat mate gave me a crochet hook to prevent from getting motion sickness and taught me a single stitch. Fast forward to now where that single stitch has become an obsession and an art.

I use crochet to elevate often simple silhouettes into standout styles that are easy to wear. I love working one-on-one with customers and boutiques to create unique pieces that their customers will adore and most importantly rock the socks off of.

The clothing line is called 'ready for anything' because you can't be ready for all the things life throws at you but your clothes and accessories can be.

Crochet hats are where it started and I continue to make those for men, women, and children. I love to add items such as upcycled buttons and leather or even vintage lace to hats and clothing to give them that stand out touch. If you don't see it I can make it! No really, I can. Example: You need a peregrine falcon on a hat for your son that loves Wild Kratts? Consider it done... and yes this has been requested and completed.

I currently live in Chicago with my three boys (Danny 6, William 4, Eddie 2- imagine sitcom quality mayhem at all times), my husband, and my dog Daisy. I am a yoga/fitness instructor who needs a lot more patience, an extra day to sew, and just a little more time to dance and play.

One more thing...in case you were wondering... I DO still crochet in the car to prevent from getting car sick.

Follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest: @bemodesigns.

When you’re in the neighborhood, shop BeMo Designs at Squasht Boutique and Wolfbait B and Girls.

About BeMoDesignsandHats

Sales 421
On Etsy since 2013

I learned to crochet on a tour on the East Coast and I never looked back.

BeMo Designs started simply as crochet hats. Lots of hats.

It has developed into a lifestyle brand that combines my two passions- design and yoga.

Each piece contains my signature handcrafted crochet details and has movement in mind. As a 200 RYT Yoga Instructor she uses her love of the body and all its abilities to design pieces that flatter and can be worn in a variety of ways.

I believes we weren't just meant to stay in one place and our clothes should reflect that. She teaches a variety of workshops around the Chicago area that combine yoga and creating.

I would love to hear from you!!
