Announcement   Each one of my bracelets is carefully handmade. Much time is spent on every one, from selecting the veneer, to finally sanding it smooth and applying the finish. Every bracelet is a one of a kind creation.

I use salvaged veneer to make my bracelets. These offcuts from the woodworking industry would otherwise be thrown out.

The bracelets hold their shape and have incredible strength due to the construction process. I use a technique known as bent lamination. Glue is spread between the layers of wood; the layers are then bent around a form and clamped until the glue has cured. After the bracelet is taken off the form, I shape it with a disc sander and then hand sand it to round any sharp edges. Finally, I brush on three coats of polyurethane finish. Once dry, the bracelet is glossy and smooth to the touch.

My bracelets are very light and comfortable to wear. If the size is correct, you will hardly notice it's on your wrist. They are not damaged by small amounts of water, as the hard finish protects the wood underneath, but I would not recommend showering or swimming with one on. With normal use a bracelet should last many years.
