♥Generally, I use feathers consciously collected and naturally molted from pet and farm birds. If an item features only cruelty-free feathers, I mention this in my listing title. These are feathers I have directly obtained from local persons who own the birds as pets/farm animals used for egg laying. All other listings are not guaranteed cruelty free, as I get my feathers from numerous sources. I do occasionally buy wings, skins, and feathers from hunters and as byproducts of the meat industry. Also, some of my feathers come from larger companies and it is impossible to trace the origin of those feathers. I have a lot of girls asking me where I buy my feathers, and I do not reveal the source, because it allows those persons to compete with me. If you are in love with a certain type of feather, I will happily sell you some of them in bulk at a very cheap price.
♥Sometimes I get a group of feathers that are all similar (i.e. a certain kind of pheasant feather with the same banding pattern, etc), and I make more than one copy of each style of earring until all these feathers are gone. I like to go with the flow of what nature hands me as far as my creations are concerned. This guarantees you receive a unique product and I am free to explore my creativity fully. You will receive a pair of earrings that looks nearly identical to the picture.
After ordering, please pay me within 48 hours. If you have not paid within 48 hours, I will cancel the sale and relist the item unless you contact me.
All items are made to order. I do not begin production until after I receive payment. I occasionally have the item already in my case and ready to ship.
If you plan to pay on a different date, that is not a problem, just let me know :)
**Shipping times: I am giving myself 5 days from the payment received date, not including weekends or Holidays to make and mail your earrings.If you need an item for an event coming up or if you need it rushed, convo me BEFORE placing your order and I can generally accomodate you.
As far as shipping times go, I use USPS first class mail which takes 3-5 days within the US. However, please allow up to 14 business days (not including holidays and weekends) to receive your order after I ship if you are in the US. I have had international orders take up to 1 month to arrive, although most shipments to Canada, the UK, and Europe arrive within 7 days. If you have not received your order in that time frame (14 business days for US, 30 business days for Int'l), PLEASE convo me before leaving negative feedback and I will ship a free replacement. All US orders have delivery confirmation.
I will overnight or 2nd day earrings to you (at your expense) if you need them immediately for $19 (my cost) within the continental US.
**For multiple item customers**
I realize that if you order 3+ items, the shipping cost becomes expensive. I will use priority (if you like) and refund you what I can less actual shipping and handling charges. For instance: If you order 4 items and it charges you $11 shipping, I will ship priority. Lets say the actual charges come to $5. My boxes cost roughly $3 for 4 items, and I add on $1.25 for gas/wear and tear/my time to package/shipping envelope if needed/bubble wrap/etc. I will then refund you $1.75. This is an approximate example, if you order more or less, this number will vary. I don't strive to make money off shipping, but do want my expenses covered.

Refunds and Exchanges
If the item arrives to you damaged due to the post office, please send me photos of the damage and I will ship you a replacement immediately.
If you are unhappy with your item, please message me within 48 hours of receipt. Please do not leave neutral or negative feedback. I am very easy to work with.
My return policy:
If it wasn't what you were expecting, you may return it for a paypal refund less 15% and shipping charges or exchange it for anything in my store (same value or less). IT MUST BE IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION for a refund. If you have damaged it, I cannot issue you a refund.
To return the item, please convo me to get my address.
1. Mail the item to me in its original condition with its box. Use delivery confirmation, because if it gets lost in the mail I cannot refund you.
2. Once I receive the item, I will cancel the transaction on etsy so i can recover the fees they charge me.
3. Once etsy cancels the transaction, I will give you a paypal refund.
Custom Items - I cannot often resell custom items. If you are unhappy with your custom item, you may return it for 85% of the sales price less shipping.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I recommend storing these feather earrings in their box (included in your purchase) or in a location where they will not get ruffled. The sterling silver, metal cones, wire wrapping, and beads will require occasional cleanings with a sterling silver cleaner to retain its gleam. Test in an inconspicuous place first to ensure the cleaner will not damage the metal.
I do warranty my work. My feather earrings are sturdily attached in their findings/wire wrapping, and you should not lose any feathers with regular use. However, I am a human being and mistakes can happen. If you receive your earrings and lose a feather quickly as a defect in workmanship, I will repair/replace the earring for free. Please convo me before leaving negative feedback.
Grizzly Rooster feathers are slick and long and they can easily get caught on backpacks, purses, and anything else they can get wrapped into. Take care with them, because if a couple feathers get pulled out, there’s nothing in the wire wrapping to prevent them all from coming out. I do not use glue because it is messy and you’d be able to see it through the wire wrapping. If you have an accident, please convo me and we will work out a replacement earring. Because each pair is individual, I will need a description of the remaining earring.
I will only provide one free repair per customer. The replacement will be shipped in an envelope wrapped in bubble wrap (no box).
