Announcement    After a 9 month break, I’m happy to be back!

WHY I HAD TO TAKE TIME OFF
The pandemic has not been kind to many small businesses, including mine. I experienced one setback after another such as supply and staff shortages and the absence of markets. On top of that, my health had been on a slow decline this past year which finally hit me in January when my dad had a heart attack.

Aside from taking care of my dad and my family, I have also been taking care of my own health and well-being these past 8 months. It took a health scare to finally realize that self-love is an extremely important part of life. I learned that loving yourself is the way to spread love to others. I learned that forgiving yourself is the basis for forgiving others.

Through all of this, I lost sight of why I started my body care products in the first place. I came across a post on social media one day that asked “How can your business help the world?” My answer: I wanted to heal people. This is why I started my body care business. I helped my daughter’s eczema with my skin butter and I wanted to help others with the same condition. And I expanded my line to cater to more people with different kinds of ailments, as well as providing everyday nourishment for our largest organ: our skin.

As soon as I shifted my thinking, everything started to fall into place. Our favourite markets are popping back up, my suppliers are now fully stocked with what I need, my health is doing so much better, an opportunity for a new online venture has risen, and we now have a new member joining our Beth and Olivia team.

To conclude, I’m ready to continue with my body care products this fall. What was supposed to be a long-term closure became a short break. But the time away was certainly needed to take care of my health and reset my goals. I have also grown too attached to my products to give them up so easily.

With a brand new energy, I continue my passion.
