Daughter's idea sparks store to life
Although I opened Bethany's 5 in Jan. 2010 I did not feel that anything I made was a huge hit. One night my oldest daughter has the million dollar idea, she said I needed to make hats that looked like animals for Halloween costumes. I asked her what I should make and she sketched out a giraffe, lion and elephant and I crocheted them up and sent them to get photos done. It was an instant hit!
Several months into selling these hats I realized that many buyers had "photography" in the user name and I suddenly realized that I had not only designed costumes but also PROPS!
