Beyond gorgeous and so comfortable. Exactly as pictures. Plan to order many more. I am adding to my original review because after a day of wearing these gorgeous earrings I have to say, they are substantial but at the same time do not feel they weight at all in my ears and they are very comfortable to wear. I received multiple compliments and found myself looking at them several times throughout the day because the earrings are a stunning piece of art work not just a piece of jewelry.

I am wearing this right now. My new Valentine necklace! Finished on the back in a pretty, tasteful manner. Garnet drop, chain, all very nice.

About

in the beginning...

I've always loved making things, and from the start, art class was simply the best part of the school day for me. But when I got to college I tried everything. Alongside art classes I was dabbling in biology, astronomy, even auto mechanics... and eventually chose to major in Anthropology with an Art minor. What I ended up with, after 5 years, was a degree in Art History.

My career path took shape in the metals department of the Oregon College of Art and Craft, where I was searching for something that would satisfy my desire to make things and my tendency to be detail oriented. It took several years and lots of patience before I finally felt that I had found my place.

Over the years, my work has come to focus on the stones that I love, the non-precious stones, the jaspers and agates. Every now and then I think " hmm, maybe I should have majored in geology...".

The bottom line is, I love what I do, and look forward to getting into my studio every morning.
