Tattoos By Betty Rose
IN HER FORMATIVE YEARS, Betty spent most of her time as team captain of the Sheepshead Bay Zinfandels, the premier franchise in New York's professional spelunking league. As the ward to a caving aficionado whose chosen craft was that of Pythagorean tone-generator composer (of which he was without peer), Betty traveled widely, frequently, and at no expense spared. Consequently, she was exposed to faraway lands, unusual cultures, strange musical landscapes, and occasional gastrointestinal disorders.
Tired of traveling, Betty took a break from caving to study the sociological aspects of Suessian folklore, and the relationship between green eggs, cats and loraxes. Her work -- and translations of original source material to English -- kept her busy for months. Busy, that is, until the day she received a letter from one of her guardian's most enthusiastic fans. Attached to the letter was a photograph of this fan's chest, back, arms and legs -- covered in tattoos with different portraits of her accomplished benefactor.
Betty was moved by the image, and instantly began to dream about becoming a tattooer -- so that one day, she would be able to tattoo a portrait of her guardian on the bodies of his fans. From that moment on, Betty did little else but study and practice the art of tattooing. And to this very day, Betty searches for a fan or two worthy of this great tattoo.
Betty Rose is a Native New Yorker who has been practicing the art of tattooing since 2004. Her love of tattoos, tattoo art and all things tattoo related has lead to enjoy making art on paper just as much as she loves putting art on skin.

First Class Mail is the standard means of delivery for all artwork and typically takes about 5 days in the US. International shipping can take up to 3 weeks, though that's atypical. If you would like ANY other means of shipping please contact us prior to purchasing so we can let you know the adjusted price for shipping.
We insure every package mailed with a value over $125. If you would like to purchase insurance for an item that has a value under $125, please contact me prior to placing your order.
First class international shipping takes between 3-6 weeks, but can take longer if held up in customs. Please note that first class international packages are not trackable once they leave the U.S. UNLESS you upgrade to registered mail. Registered mail slows things down terribly, but is trackable and can be added to first class and priority mail. It runs $14 to most countries.
USPS Express mail has full tracking and runs $48 dollars to most countries. There are quite a few countries that do not allow jewelry to be imported, or have specific rules about not using express mail for jewelry, so this may not be an option for you, depending on your mailing address.
*CUSTOMS FEES, TAXES, DUTIES, ETC.
As a resident of the US, we're not authorized to collect your country's import fees and taxes, and they are not included in your purchase price. These fees are a tax levied by your government, so please check with your government website/local customs office to estimate any fees that may be due after you take delivery of your package. We will not falsify documents or mark orders as gifts.
