Announcement   I LOVE wool! Needle felting is my main passion and I enjoy the challenge of creating decorative and practical artefacts such as wool bowls, pots, containers, boxes, animals, egg cosies, toys, bags, clothing and jewellery from fibre. I use many types of wool - Shetland, Jacob, Merino, Alpaca, Manx and various rare breeds. The designs are my own, made using wools that inspire and sometimes incorporating patterns and textures from prehistoric art and nature.
Other interests include ceramics and beading; jewellery can ocasionally be found in my other shop: wildling.etsy.com

I support many good causes, particularly WSPA, PTES, Wildlife Aid Foundation, Greenpeace,Fauna & Flora Interntional, the Battery Hen Welfare Trust, The Brooke, CIWF, Mare & Foal Sanctuary, Blue Cross and Barnado's. They are all worthy of support, please check out their websites and help them if you get a chance.

Wool is such a versatile fibre. I have always been interested in how different breeds can produce such different fibres and now, at last, I have the time to experiment and explore the properties of a wide range of wools, from fine Merino and Shetland, to sturdy Jacob and rugged Herdwick.
I care about all animals, whether farmed, wild or domesticated and support a number of organisations that help pets, farm animals, zoo animals, animals in war and disaster zones, wild birds and the mammals. Also, and perhaps most importantly, organisations that care about the environment itself.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I'm a fan of Paypal - it's just so easy to use - but if you are in the UK and would prefer to send a cheque just let me know. You will, however, have to wait a while before you receive your purchase, while the payment clears.
Shipping
UK mailings are sent by First Class Royal Mail letter, packet or parcel post. Overseas and Europe are sent by Airmail and I can use 'International Signed For' if you are willing to pay the extra postage.
I only list postage to UK and Everywhere else because life is too short for listing every country and I will refund the difference for charges that turn out to be far too high! Please convo me if you want to know the exact postage - I will be happy to weigh the package and adjust postage for you. I only charge a small amount for packing as I wrap purchases simply in new white tissue paper and always use clean, recycled padded envelopes or boxes for mailing.
Refunds and Exchanges
Unused, undamaged items can be returned for a full refund of the purchase price, (excluding return postage) if you are unhappy with the quality of workmanship or finish. It hasn't happened yet - but this will make sure I keep my standards high!
Additional policies and FAQs
I use cleaned, washed wool from various sources and try to ensure that the sheep have been treated humanely, have a good quality of life and have not been badly treated during the shearing process. The Lincs Longwool sheep are close personal friends(!) but I have to rely on my research, local knowlefge and instincts about the well being of other flocks.
