I think one of the first reasons I got in to making jewelry was my love of beads. Ever since I was little I loved them. I hoarded them in boxes without ever making anything with them! Also, my mom and I both have an affinity for miniature things, and what could be better than a tiny sparkly gem.

I can still remember my excitement when I ordered my first batch of gemstones. I didn't know what I was going to do with them yet but I knew I loved them! I can't leave the house without a pair of earrings so making jewelry was a natural progression now that I had all these beads! I started making jewelry about 6 years ago while I was home from college for summer. I started getting a lot of compliments and friends and family started asking me to make them things. When I stumbled upon etsy I couldn't have been more excited to finally have a venue to sell my jewelry!

I am partial to earrings, so I tend to have about 10 times more earring listings than anything else in my shop but I love to make all types of jewelry! I love bold color combinations and am usually inspired by color. My ideal piece of jewelry is something that you could wear to dress up a tee shirt and jeans, or wear out to a cocktail party.

In 2010 I became an official small business owner and it was a truly great feeling. Since then I have sold my jewelry in markets, hosted jewelry parties, adorned bridesmaids with my creations, and have sold my jewelry in boutiques in Boston.

I'm sure my love of beads and jewelry will be a life-long affair!
