Bijoux Rouge began out of my desire to design my own wedding; I wanted to design my dress, my jewelry, the invitations, the decorations, everything. This was long before weddings began such a trend, so there weren't as many resources available. I set out to design everything that was possible. I have always enjoyed creating and designing. After the wedding, I realized I had enjoyed designing the jewelry so much, that I kept creating and designing more jewelry. Eventually, I started to sell designs to my friends, co-workers and family. I had originally named my designs "Katrinna Louise Designs" though today I call my business "Bijoux Rouge."

My designs have evolved and changed overtime, not unlike myself. Today, I would describe my designs as vintage-inspired, feminine and whimsical. Most of my designs are one of a kind and are never duplicated. Aside from designing products, I also do most of my own graphic design, website, blog design and photography. Every now and then I recruit a good friend who has more talent than I, to assist me with product and model photography or such things.

Bijoux Rouge is a handmade adventure, and I'm so happy you stumbled upon it.

I have been creating and designing beautiful accessories and jewelry since 2006. I have a passion for everything that is lovely and feminine. If you don't see something in my shop that you want, I am happy to work on a custom piece for you, for any occasion.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
Please keep in mind that due to the handmade nature of Bijoux Rouge products, items which are made to order may differ slightly from the pictures. Also, colors may appear differently on your screen than they do on mine. I try my best to recreate items as closely as possible to the original design, but some differences are only natural. Please be confident in your selection before purchasing, and feel free to contact me with any questions.

All custom orders are final sale. Returns and exchanges will not be accepted on any custom order, even if you have a change in plans, incompatible gown color, have found something else, or any other reason. I am happy to repair, fix and modify your custom order purchase if there’s something you’re unhappy with; however, if your custom order needs to be altered more than once, an additional fee may apply.

Returns on regular priced products are accepted for exchange or credit only. This ensures that prices can remain low and that customers always receive new, unworn veils and accessories. You can make exchanges in-person by appointment, or by mail. In order to return a product for exchange or credit you must:
- Contact me by email within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Return the product to me, postmarked, within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Original packaging and tags must still be on the products. They must be in new, unworn condition. Please reuse the original packaging, or something similar. Earrings are subject to a re-stocking fee since the earring hooks cannot be reused.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the shipping costs both ways, as well as any price difference between the products being exchanged, if any (or you’ll receive a credit if the price is less expensive).
- I reserve the right to deny an exchange if these conditions are not met. Bijoux Rouge cannot be responsible for damage to items sent back that are not properly packaged, or lost during shipping. I strongly advise you to use a shipping service that offers tracking or insurance, or both.

I regret that I cannot offer returns and exchanges on any products after the wedding date.

All sales are final on clearance and sale priced items.

Damaged Packages: In the event that a package does arrived highly damaged, and the product is damaged, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can file with the shipping company. Insurance is available, and unless it is purchased, I am not responsible for damages incurred during shipping. I will do my best to package everything for a safe ride.

Lost Packages: Same as above. Without insurance, everything is left to chance.

Shipping charges will not be refunded and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Repairs/Warranty: All items will be fixed or replaced for free for the first year of after purchase. After that point in time, a reasonable fee with apply (to cover materials and shipping) - and I'm always willing to work something out. I want you to be happy!

A deposit of 25% is required on all custom orders, at the time the order is placed, which is applied to the total cost. The remaining balance is due at time of shipping.

In order to have your order shipped promptly, please make your payment in full within 2 days of purchase.

○○○ Comox Valley Residents ○○○ Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland
You may order online, pay online, and receive your purchase by mail. Or, you may order online, select 'other' as your payment method, and we can meet up here in the Valley. The shipping charge will then be waived. Email me before you choose this option to ensure that we have time to meet up. Delivery is available as well, directly to your home (within Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland) for the shipping charge. Pick-up is free, by appointment.
I charge flat-rate shipping, and reduced shipping charges for each additional item. The more you buy, the more you save.

*DIRECT GIFT SHIPPING* I am happy to ship to a gift recipient for a birthday/special occasion, gift wrapped too! Convo me when you purchase, or before you purchase, to ensure it goes where you need it to go.

I live in Canada and will ship anywhere in the world. If your country/region isn't included in the listing, it's because you will require a shipping quote. Message me with your postal code/state or country and I will send you a custom invoice.

○○○ Regular Parcel Includes ○○○
For bridal veils and hair pieces, I ship regular parcel using Canada Post. This includes delivery confirmation, and coverage for items up to a value of $100. Signature on delivery can be added for $1.50. Regular parcel can take anywhere from 4 business days, to 7-10 business days, depending on customs and how far it is going.

○○○ Other Shipping Options ○○○
If you'd like your order to arrive faster, or would like to have insurance on your package there are a number of options. ***Please email me before your item is shipped to take advantage of these options. You will receive a shipping quote and then a separate or adjusted Pay Pal invoice can be sent to you.

○○○ Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ○○○
I do use recycled envelopes and packing supplies. If you would prefer me not to do so, please request it in the notes to seller at time or purchase. Re-using supplies helps reduce our carbon footprint; recycling is good!

***Buyer is responsible for shipping charges, customs and duties unless other arrangements have been made.

I am not in the business of making money off of shipping charges. If I have grossly over-charged you when it comes to shipping, I will gladly refund the difference.

○○Custom Orders○○
Custom orders can be arranged through Etsy conversation. A 25% deposit is required of all customer orders once we agree on what we are creating - it is non-refundable once I have ordered supplies or have begun creating your order. I will work carefully with you and listen to your needs in order to create something perfectly unique for you. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, I am happy to repair/fix/change and alter the product to make it better. All custom order sales are final.
