Artshow in Sunny California + Rain = Etsy

How did this shop come about? Honestly, I was sitting at The Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, it was pouring rain for the second weekend in a row. The rain was so bad, they actually closed the show for the day. And I thought to myself, there has got to be a better way to share my art with the world. One that isn't dependent upon the weather, and people's ability to come to a show.

The next day I listed a couple pieces of art on my new Etsy shop - and sold two pieces that night! To people I knew, but who had never been able to come to an art show, because they didn't live in California.

So I decided to put some of my attention on a shop here on Etsy. And I'm glad I did. Since then I have been able to share my art with collectors, not just in the United States and Canada, but also the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. How does it get better than that? (I also have my giraffe paintings in Africa, but that's another story.) So my art has now seen much more of the world than I have, and I think that's pretty cool.

All because an art show in Sunny California got rained out.

    Have you ever met a giraffe? I did and instantly fell in love. And so I started painting giraffes, and then decided to expand to other topics children & the young at heart could connect with.

Returns and exchanges
*All custom sales are final, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you require any additional information or photographs.

*All non-custom orders have a 30 day return policy, if the item is returned in new condition.

*If there is an issue with shipping, the item is insured. So I will work with you and USPS or UPS to resolve the issue and make sure that you have a complete and undamaged order, while you also return to me the order damaged in shipping. (In over 10 years of shipping online, I have only had 1 order get damaged in shipping.)

*I package my items in such a way that it is nearly impossible for them to be damaged in shipping; if you do receive a damaged item please contact me immediately and I will send you the necessary receipts/ information for being refunded through your post office/ UPS etc.
Payment
*I accept Payment via Etsy as well as PayPal. No personal checks.

*You may cancel an order within 24 hours. Orders not paid for within 3 days will be cancelled and relisted unless other arrangements are made.

*For commissions I require a non-refundable deposit of half in advance, and the remainder upon completion.
Shipping
* I ship from the US and Canada using USPS, FedEx or UPS. All items are shipped Ground with delivery confirmation. If you would like express mail, please contact me.

*Larger items are are professionally packaged and insured with UPS or FedEx.
