I LOVE this little journal. It's absolutely beautiful. The cover is soft and the interior pages are lovely. Plenty of room for me to paste in ephemera or photos and still be able to close and lock it. Seller was amazing. Contacted me immediately and let me know it would be a couple of days before she could mail it out and even refunded my shipping because of that, which I totally didn't expect. Arrived very quickly and was beautify packaged. I will be ordering more from this shop for sure!

Leather journals handmade in Indianapolis, Indiana
As a lifelong lover of books, reading and keeping a journal, bookbinding was a natural fit for me. I started exploring the world of book arts in high school at our local library by reading how-to books and absorbing all of the artist journals I could find.
Later in college, I learned my first historical binding stitch. Upon sewing that last page and tying the final knot, I knew I had found an artistic home, and I have been bookbinding ever since! Binding Bee officially started in 2008 when I opened up my Etsy shop and started selling at small craft shows around Indiana. Since then, it has grown into my full-time job, and I travel to art fairs around the Midwest and sell on Etsy. Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Custom imprints onto pre-made books in my shop take 3-4 days for turn-around time (expedited service available, just contact me). As soon as the book is completed, I will send you a photo proof to approve prior to shipping.
Custom orders for journals or wedding guest books typically take 2-3 weeks depending on the season. Please contact me and I can give you a detailed price quote as well as expected turn-around time.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All purchases include free gift wrapping and an informational card about Binding Bee.
If your item is a gift, I can include a personalized card with a message from you. Please leave those details in the 'note to seller' box when you checkout, or send me an Etsy convo.
Wholesale availability
