Announcement   Have fun sewing! Enjoy sewing a small wallet or lunch bag from a PDF pattern available for instant download. My most recent pattern is a bow tie pattern using an upcycled neck tie. You'll find the patterns written clearly, concisely and easy to follow so all skill levels will finish with a successful project.

It is a pleasure to create custom items for you. All of the items for sale are my original patterns so I can make one just for you out of the fabric of your choice. With custom orders, I re-post listings for custom items as current orders are completed and as time permits to keep a consistent 2 week turnaround. If you desire an item that has sold out, please convo and I can set up a custom listing for you or let you know when I'll be re-posting that item.

You can also find out a bit more at http://www.binskistudio.com/ and follow links on the about page regarding ministry support through your purchases.

If you happen to convo on Sunday, I will be enjoying a day to rest and will respond promptly on Monday.

Have a wonderful day.... Thanks for stopping by!

About

Mothers and Daughters

I grew up watching my mother creating for craft fairs and learning the tricks of the trade. She would allow me to contribute my humble creations and rejoice with me in a sale or two. My business-minded mother taught me a little about sewing but much more about customer service. I aspire to make my mother proud as a crafter and in customer service. As my first child was born and I entered the world of a stay at home mom, Etsy provided a welcomed creative outlet and the opportunity to use what I learned from my mother.

When starting Binski's Studio, it was with zero expectations but a bit of hope that someone might find what I sold appealing enough to purchase. I've been very encouraged in the years since. Of the few items that I started with, my shop evolved primarily into sewn items inspired by the needs of a stay at home mom such as a diaper bag or lunch bag.

Transitions happen with any business and in 2013, She Knows Canada contacted me regarding my custom lunch bags. This eventually led to a very, very, insanely busy summer making lunch bags and lots of quality time with my husband. Being a teacher home on summer break, he used his free time to graciously pin, press and package lunch bags for me. It is a fun memory for both of us.

Because I enjoy time with my family doing things other than sewing, I decided my time may be better spent creating a pattern so others could sew lunch bags themselves. Writing patterns is a long process but delightfully rewarding when I hear from those who enjoy them.

Where is my shop headed? Items in my shop continue to be inspired by the needs in my family. My next venture may be doll making, the request of my now nine-year-old little girl. When I see her find utter delight in hugging and chatting to her handmade dolls, it is with excitement that I ponder over creating more for her and possibly for others.

And in the spirit of passing on what my mother taught me, my daughter joined me for the first time at a craft fair this fall. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach her that each sale is all in the hands of God and that His gift to us is not only a sale of an item but also the gift of creativity. That is a priceless gift. And as she excitedly created in the days approaching the craft fair, my heart smiled proudly and when she made a sale or two, my heart rejoiced with her.
