Having spent so many years shopping for beads, I remember the frustration of either trying to guess in advance how many of a certain bead I'd need, while at the local bead store, or buying a full strand and then having to store the leftover beads. Because of this I make an effort to package my beads in lots that are about the right number for one or two projects. I also create some lots that are a mix of several sizes of beads in coordinating colors, so that all you have to do is add a few accents and focal beads and you're ready to go.

Some of my beads are vintage and show some wear or patina from their previous lives, or are made of materials where a few imperfections are part of their charm, and these are noted in the individual item descriptions. However, I check each bead as I package it, and ensure that each lot is in good condition to use, with none of the "waste beads" that seem to be inevitable when purchasing strands or packages at the store.

I package each lot of beads I sell in a reusable zip-top bag, which are great for storing them in as well.

Returns and exchanges
I make every effort to describe all of my items accurately, take true-color pictures and ship them in a manner that will protect them from breakage.

If in spite of this you receive an item which is broken, or that you feel is not what you expected, please contact me within 5 business days of receiving the item, and I will replace the item, if possible, or refund your purchase.

Beads being returned or exchanged should be mailed back in their original packaging. After I have received the returned item, I will mail the replacement, or refund the purchase price (less shipping charges).
Payment
I only accept PayPal for payment, since this allows for payment either via funds already within your account or transferred via e-check, or by using your credit or debit card. Payment must be made within three days of your order, or the sale will be cancelled and the item(s) re-listed.
Shipping
Most orders are packaged in 6x9" padded mailing envelopes. Larger orders or more fragile beads may be shipped in boxes to allow for more padding between the packets of beads. If you have to pick up your parcels at the Post Office due to mailbox size limitations and would like to know in advance how your order is being packaged, feel free to ask when you place your order.

Orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days of payment received, I try to ship as soon as possible, though, and depending upon the time of day your payment arrives, they may even be shipped the same day.

Within the US, I ship via First Class Mail, which means your item will often arrive within 2-3 business days of shipment. Orders outside the US are shipped via International First Class Mail, and do take longer to arrive.

If you need expedited handling and shipping, please convo me and I will be happy to discuss the options and rates with you.
Additional policies and FAQs
Since both PayPal and Etsy provide downloadable transaction records, I am doing my part to reduce paper waste by no longer printing receipts and shipping them with bead orders, unless a paper copy is specifically requested in the purchase notes.
