Howdy everyone! You have stumbled across birdenvy, art and handmade goods made by yours truly - Karen! I'm an artist, an animator and I have a slight infatuation with birds.

If you're interested in seeing more of my work, take a stroll over to my website www.birdenvy.com

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
If you're not happy with your item (or suddenly decide you despise birds?) I will accept returns or exchanges (as long as they are in sellable condition) within 14 days of your receiving the merchandise. Once I receive your returned item undamaged, I will refund the cost of the item, not shipping.
Payment
The only method of payment I accept is Paypal. Please pay within 48 hours.

If you make a purchase and fail to pay, I will contact you once requesting payment. If you do not pay within another 24 hours, your order will be cancelled.
Shipping
I generally ship on Tuesdays and Fridays, but delays do happen from time to time. Please let me know if you really need an item by a certain day and I will do my best to work with you.

If you're making purchases for the holidays, please make payment by December 16th.

I ship via USPS Priority Mail, delivery normally takes between 2-3 days. If you would like expedited shipping, just send me a message and I'll let you know what options are available.

If the actual cost to ship an item is less than what you paid for shipping, I will refund the difference (if it is more than $2.00).

I mostly ship items using new boxes from the USPS, but occasionally I will repurpose a box to use for shipping pillows. I personally see nothing wrong with giving a cardboard box a second use before it ends up in the recycling bin, but I've actually run into a person who thought it was disgusting to re-use a cardboard shipping box! Please understand, I only use clean boxes, and your pillow is always wrapped up safely in paper before placed in the box.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm always interested in doing custom orders. Please contact me and we'll discuss the details.

***

All items come from a non-smoking home.

However, I should mention that everything here is crafted in a home that is shared with a lovely siamese cat. My feline friend is pretty useless when it comes to sewing (he typically just tries to steal my thread spools) so I try to keep him away from the sewing room at all times. Unfortunately, cat hair floats and I can't guarantee that your owl pillow will arrive "fur free". There are probably some of you out there who are allergic to cats and it is important for you to know the reality!
