In March, 2020, I was laid-off from my position as a Customer Service Supervisor/Graphic Designer after 11 1/2 years. Prior to that time, I owned a sign company in Tampa, Florida before selling and moving to Jacksonville in 2007 to be with my sweetheart who I had met online. I am a blogger, photographer, writer & published author.

When the pandemic shut everything down, I started my first Etsy shop, Our Eyes Open Designs, www.oureyesopendesigns.com. It has morphed into a rubber stamp shop while selling a few other items. After purchasing new equipment including a laser engraver, we are launching new products on Bird Lady Customs (birdladycustoms.com). With over 24 years experience in customer service, graphic design and owning other businesses, I am looking forward to the next chapter in my Etsy pursuit.

The name of this shop came from my passion for birding. I'm known as the bird lady to my friends and family.
