I'm an artist and art teacher in a little town here in Colorado. I opened Birds and Berry Studio in 2016 to share my love of beauty and nature with others. I am a self-taught artist, but have been creating art my whole life. As you can tell by my shop name and choice of artwork, I love birds and and my last name is Hocken'berry', so that's where the inspiration for the name Birds and Berry Studio came from.
Processing time:
1-3 business days unless custom or commissioned pieces
Processing time on custom and commissioned pieces will be 2 to 3 weeks depending on the complexity of the project. Ask to have shipping upgraded for faster times or if you need a project completed sooner.
Policies and procedures:
All purchases except custom orders and commissions are 'Ready to Ship'
I cannot accept returns or give refunds for custom/commissioned order.
If ordering internationally, customs fees are the responsibility if the buyer.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
For Custom pet portraits, bridal bouquet paintings, and house portrait art, send a photo or two of the subject with any special instructions and your original watercolor will be ready within 2-3 weeks. You will be sent a photo for your approval before it ships.
Care instructions
Original Watercolor Custom Art comes with instructions on best care for the longevity of the artwork. Framing watercolor art behind glass or keeping it in the plastic sleeve it comes in is the best way to ensure the paint stays set and the paper stays flat. Keep it out of direct sunlight to keep the colors vibrant.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All my items are packages with care and quick shipping turnaround times. Original canvas and framed art is padded with bubble wrap and sealed in a protective plastic sheet before it is packaged. Stationery and magnets are wrapped in tissue paper before being sent in an envelope straight to your mailbox.
