My story is an interesting one.
After home schooling my daughters for 8 years they started to ask questions about using their creativity to create things that people would like to order. So we decided to set up this wonderful Etsy shop to teach us all how to set up and run our own business.
There is no better way to teach a child how to do something than to actually get hands on and do it for real.

After 3 years the girls have gone off to college and run their own businesses in photography, creative media and digital art. So our shop is now run by me.

I'm an Autism mum in my late 40's running a small business from home. I have been hand sewing for nearly 40years. I love to create happy things to make people smile.
I started my cute animal collection in a quality felt fabric because it's soft to the touch, tactile, very soothing to feel which is great for autistic children with sensory issues. I love the idea of taking a small friend everywhere you go to bring comfort and confidence so I created my cute pocket pal collection to help all people with anxiety issues.
I have had issues in the past with anxiety & taught myself techniques to control it then passed those techniques onto my autism family of nearly 20 years. Our child didn't like physical hugs but we found hugging a plushie & passing it to her to hug too was great for bonding between us. So I hand sew my collection with love knowing I'm making people & families smile.

My likes - The sun, moon & walking by water are my happy places along with sitting in the garden with a good book to read while listening to the birds sing.
