5 out of 5 starsFantastic seller and product!!! When my Widelux carrier arrived I found that it was a bit too short on the sides for my negatives. Tim suggested that I send him a negative and he would make a new custom fit carrier. Within no time it arrived and I was making prints, it’s perfect!!!

4 out of 5 starsThis holds my 645 format negatives perfectly. Just one small design issue though in terms of the film stripe's direction and hence the deduction of 1 star. Since I want to align the long side of my digital camera sensor with the long side of the negative frame, the film stripe will hit the copy stand's column as I move from one frame to the next. I wish this items worked like the 35mm version. I had to workaround this by turning things 90 degrees and now a large part of my light table is sticking outside the base board of the copy stand. I understand that this item is designed to work with other formats like 6x6, 6x7 etc and they won't have this problem. So, may be a dedicated 645 format scan table is more desirable.

5 out of 5 starsIt's a really cool concept. The seller's advice is right - once you assemble it - don't try to disassemble it... you'll break it and end up gluing a leg back on. But beyond that - perfect.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you make your 3D Printed Parts out of PLA?
The answer is simply that PLA produces the best finish for the carriers, is rigid, relatively inert, and inexpensive. There has been requests to offer the carriers in PETG, and I may at some point. But PLA has worked very well. Keep the parts out of a hot space (like a car) and they will last a long time.
