I'm an absolute beginner and this was a fun way to test the waters! (The bag pictured was not my first attempt!)

This is solid gorgeousness. I have to say that as a dyer, it is not tremendously often that I see another dyer's work and yell out OMG I NEED THAT YARN!!! But for this little beauty I did, and ohhh mama, it does NOT disappoint. I haven't cast on yet because it is my precious and I just need time first to ogle and pet it. But when I do, a picture is going up right here. Ohh is it ever perfection.

Once upon a time an art historian was more interested in wool than writing papers, so she moved from NYC to the Ohio 'burbs with her honey to start a family and pursue a life in fiber.

i heart dyeing and spinning. being able to make something extraordinary and artful and then being able to *wear* it is incredible! drawing was my first love and i can easily become completely entranced by any medium, but fiber has captured my heart.

it's in my nature to work with my hands and be creative. my love (bordering on addiction) of knitting and yarn has led me to create my own yarns and knitting accessories. i put a lot of thought and effort into everything i make and would not offer it for sale if i didn't think you would love it just as much as i do. i hand-dye and hand-paint all of my yarns. the knitting/crochet accessories are made from my collection of fabric and clay which has been steadily added to over many years and are crafted by me in my little studio. i hope you like what i have to offer. thanks for stopping by!
