Small-batch children's clothing sewn by hand in Keokea, Maui

Hi, I'm Taryn — the hands and heart behind Bitty Bambu.
It started the way most good things do: quietly, without a plan. When my daughter was small, I started sewing clothes for her, and this business evolved from there.
Bitty Bambu is handmade on Maui, Hawaii, where the islands have a way of working themselves into everything. The plants, the ocean, the colors that show up at golden hour — they all inspire me to draw or source prints that honor them. Many of those prints are designed by Hawaiian artists, and supporting those creators feels like exactly the right thing to do.
I make girls' dresses, baby accessories, and burp cloths — each one cut, sewn, and finished here in our Keokea studio.
My hope is that a child wearing something from Bitty Bambu feels a little bit of that island magic. The kind that makes you want to wander, explore, and see what's around the next corner.
