Exceptionally well made. No worries that this bag will fall apart or fray in anyway. It is almost the perfect purse I had been searching for. I was worried the waxing wasn't heavy enough but it rained the day after I got the bag and was able to put it to the test. The water mostly beaded up and dried very quickly. Quality work with quality materials!

Imagine, Design, Cut, Sew, Photograph, List!

For collage artist, Elizabeth Z. Mow, ETSY was the perfect venue for her retail handbag business. After years of successfully selling bags and purses in a circuit of southern California arts and craft shows and exhibitions, the next natural step was to set up a shop on the internet and reach a global audience. "I was Divinely guided to ETSY," says Elizabeth. I picked up a "Cloth, Paper, Scissors" magazine for the first time in 2008, read an article on the site, and just knew this was the place for me! I could design, cut, sew, take pictures, and list my creations, all by myself." Elizabeth's Bizmo shop is a collection of fabric and leather wearable art accessories. Some of her handbags are simply stated, and others are a quirky, collaged medley of interesting, upholstery-weight textiles with leather accent and beaded embellishment. All are thoughtfully designed, and cut and sewn with care. Elizabeth works one on one with customers who would like an accessory that will serve their personal needs and design aesthetic. Whether a custom strap length, specific dimensions, extra pockets, or personalized color schemes and themes, providing customers with alternative options from the sea of mass produced purses is what Bizmo is all about! " I consider Bizmo to be a gallery exhibition that continues to evolve and grow as the artist within me sees fit, "

I was pre-wired to sew! As a young girl I crudely hand stitched clothes for my dolls out of fabric scraps. My favorite great Aunt Bertha took me under her wing,(sewing 101 basics), the summer I was twelve. I took what she taught me and ran with it!

As a one person operation, every care is taken to create this top quality handbag. I choose upholstery weight textiles which are generally scotchguarded and made to take wear and tear. I use medium weight leather and carefully cut around scratches and flaws. My philosophy is to enjoy the creative process and produce unique, functioning handbags that stand apart in the sea of mass produced everything!

I generally use USPS First Class/Priority Mail when shipping my handbags. The cost I plug into a listing is reflective of the farthest point from southern Ca. ATTENTION International buyers: USPS International First Class Mail is what my prices reflect and is the most affordable. However, it is not trackable in the event of a package losing its way! Therefore it is advised to add an additional $13.65 to register the package and have to sign for it upon delivery. Without this USPS registration upgrade, buyer bears the risk. It is not my responsibility if a country's Postal Service does not deliver the package in a timely manner or at all!

The other International Shipping option is Priority Mail which is the fastest method and can be tracked. Please contact me with requests for upgrades.
