Blackenedruby Jewelry is a collection of vintage inspired & all out amusing jewelry by Jenn Lootens, beader & jeweler in southeast Michigan, who loves all things that have to do with cabochons and glittering glass beads.
All of our products are designed by hand and assembled by us in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The name “Blackenedruby” is about treasuring the traditional while making it your own, loving life, parties & experiences, going out with friends, walking outside comfort zones, and looking back just by peering into your jewelry box.
I like to think that the things that we make, keep memories alive and are an expression of our personalities. The inspiration for many of the pieces in my line comes directly from my dreams, my surroundings, the weird and the new. My goal is to create energetic designs with the simple message that it’s only jewelry, it doesn’t have to be serious, expensive and unexciting.
