    I am the Black Potter, maker of face jugs and functional pottery. The love of my life, Jan, takes care of the business end of things so I am free to be an artist. (Everyone should be so blessed," she says!)

    We live and work in Pittsburgh, PA, where we have converted our brick two-car garage built in 1927 into a pottery studio. (Yes, I am blessed!)

    We welcome your orders, questions, correspondence, and custom requests.

    Returns and exchanges
    If your order arrives damaged, let us know immediately so we can process a claim and give you a refund. You must save the packaging and damaged piece for the rare occasion when a UPS or postal inspector needs to see it on your end.

    We have never had a return, but if you are dissatisfied we will offer you a refund if you meet the following terms: Kindly inform us and repack the item the same way we shipped it to you. Pay the return shipping including insurance. Pottery is fragile so naturally we cannot be responsible for any breakage once you receive your order.
