Wij zijn The Perthshire Bowtie Co. Een kleine, onafhankelijke online winkel gevestigd in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.

Een klein beetje over onze geschiedenis - Opgericht in 2014, wordt het nog steeds gerund door eigenaar en chef-ambachtsman Amanda. Na haar studie voor een modegraad in de Schotse grensstreek, begon ze als de Bowtie Boutique, waar ze vlinderdassen maakte in haar vijfde verdieping in Edinburgh. Amanda kreeg een reputatie voor hoogwaardige, premium herenaccessoires, die ze verkocht via online platforms en tentoonstelde op makersmarkten.

Na een verhuizing naar Perthshire in het hart van Schotland, veranderde de naam van het bedrijf in The Perthshire Bowtie Co. Geïnspireerd door het erfgoed en de traditionele stijlen om ons heen, richtten we ons op het produceren van prachtige Schotse tartan vlinderdassen, met 100% wol geweven in Schotland. We selecteerden ook zorgvuldig een reeks andere premium stoffen, waaronder biologisch katoen voor ons Liberty of London-assortiment en puur linnen en satijn voor onze black tie-artikelen. We werken waar mogelijk nauw samen met lokale en Britse leveranciers en streven ernaar deze bedrijven te ondersteunen. We zijn ook verheugd dat we samen mogen werken met een aantal fantastische plekken en u kunt ons werk vinden in een aantal geweldige cadeauwinkels.

A wee bit about our history- Founded in 2014 it is still run by owner and chief artisan, Amanda. After studying for a fashion degree in the Scottish borders, she started out as the Bowtie Boutique, crafting bowties from her fifth story Edinburgh based studio. Amanda gained a reputation for quality, premium men's accessories, selling via online platforms and showcasing at maker markets.

Following a move to Perthshire in the heart of Scotland, the business changed name to The Perthshire Bowtie Co. Inspired by the heritage and traditional styles surrounding us we focused on producing beautiful Scottish tartan bowties, using 100% wool woven in Scotland. We also carefully selected a range of some other premium fabrics including organic cotton for our Liberty of London range and pure Linens and satin for our black tie items. We work closely with local and UK based suppliers where possible, striving to support those businesses. We're also thrilled that we get to work alongside some fantastic places and you can find our work in a number of wonderful gift shops.
