Looks so cute in my herb garden! I'd take a picture but a creepy person just rang my doorbell and I don't want them to know I'm home haha!

Item was everything I had in mind. My only complaint would be that it took a very long time to ship compared to other items I have purchased on etsy in the past. The store did post a message saying there may be delays due to a busy wedding season. I was glad to have that warning otherwise I would have been more frustrated. Worth the wait. Thanks!

Do It Yourself
Shortly after we got married in 2001, Deb and I moved into our first home. It was a modest town house with a somewhat thin living room. We had used some of the money we had received from our wedding to purchase some furnishings, but we just couldn't find an appropriate coffee table to fit the space. So what did Deb do? She built one of course. It had a wooden frame with ceramic tiles inlaid on the top of it. It was sturdy and beautiful, but it was not Deb's first piece of furniture nor was it the last. She has reveled in one-do-it-yourself project after the next in each of the homes we have lived in since.
Deb received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Penn State where we first met. We were in our senior year when she decided to take a metal working class. She was a sculpture major, but she's always had an interest in how just about anything is put together and was particularly fascinated with metal after getting the chance to cast bronze sculptures. Needless to say, it was love at first site. Deb combined her newfound metal working skills with her background in sculpture to create some of the pieces you see pictured here, and even though she spent the better part of the decade that followed making jewelry, the cattail (inspired by these same pieces) became the trademark of Blazer Arts for many years.
We have 7 shops in total here on Etsy (listed below), most of which offer custom made jewelry, but Blazer Studios offers Deb a change of pace and a reminder as to how her journey into metalworking began. Here in Blazer Studios we offer custom made yet affordable items for the house and home.

Owner, Designer, Bench Jeweler
I have worked in the jewelry industry since 1999 as a bench jeweler, wax carver, stone setter and repair technician. Along with my experience in the field, I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture and Metalworking from Penn State.
Marketer, Photographer, Customer Service
I was an English professor for nearly a decade. I studied filmmaking at Penn State, which is where Deb and I met. Now I manage our digital storefronts and various social media platforms.
Kirstin (once our boys' VPK teacher and now a dear friend) joined Blazer Arts in 2015. She immediately took to jewelry making and has proven to be a wonderful addition to our team. She's likewise an avid runner and takes part in adventure racing.
Client Care Specialist
Eva is an empathetic soul who always puts others first. She's been a librarian and a school teacher. In fact, she was our oldest son's kindergarten teacher. Now she will ensure that our clients are well taken care of as Blazer Arts continues to grow.
