Overall a good product, but a bit unrefined (needed more sanding/finishing, there were some gaps). A very clever concept and product.

About

Custom Needlecraft and Woodcraft from the heart of Columbia, Tennessee

Needle & Grain was born quite simply. A young couple with a penchant for making things the old fashioned way decided to to take on projects for themselves. Bryson, having some experience in woodworking with his grandfather, decided he wanted to build a coffee table. So he did. Susan, already equipped with strong sewing skills decided to take on making a quilt. So she did.

As it turned out, they really enjoyed their new hobbies, so they kept making more. Bryson keeps experimenting and branching out with both large and small projects, as well as collaborating with others to make one-of-a-kind pieces. He loves taking the approach of problem solving in his work. Not a fan of waste, he’s always challenging himself to use every bit of the wood.

Susan found that she has a talent for picking colors and patterns that make her quilts modern heirlooms to be passed down from generation to generation. Her knack for picking great fabrics lends itself well to creating accessories for your home, your baby, and yourself. She loves sewing and takes such great joy in making custom pieces.

If you’re looking for a modern heirloom for your family, Needle & Grain would be so honored and happy to make it for you.
