In 2011, we took a leap of faith and moved from our beloved urban life in Montreal to the gorgeous Laurentian mountains. -

In early 2018 we finished building our dream workspace, moving out of the cramped garage in which B+B was born. -

Once the lumber has been sawn, jointed and planed, we arrange the boards into a strong and beautiful panel. -

A custom walnut ottoman wrap gets its final sanding touches before the first application of our zero-VOC finish. -

We'd been a couple for a decade when we bought "Silverwood" in the summer of 2011. Leaving behind the vibrant city of Montreal, we entered a quieter world of forests and lakes and birds.
It is impossible to ignore the environmental impact of our actions when you live close to nature, and Blisscraft + Brazen deepened our already strong mandate to run our creative businesses in line with our values and ethics. We believe that our lives should, as much as possible, contain only joyful objects that are beautiful, functional and made in a sustainable manner. B+B is our full time enterprise, to which we bring the skills acquired during a decade of running a custom furniture making service and a sterling silver jewellery line.
We believe in connecting with our customers human-to-human, which means prompt + clear + respectful communication. Providing the utmost quality of product and a joyful experience to our clients is our daily North Star. Thank you for visiting, kick off your shoes and stay awhile!

Aaron has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Concordia University in Montreal, and a cabinetmaking diploma from Rosemont Tech Institute. He loves to understand how things are put together and is a recovering perfectionist.

Rachel has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and is a jewellery school dropout. She ran Brazen Design, her line of hand carved sterling silver bling, for 10 years. Her goal is to channel love and beauty into everything she touches.

Weaver
Rebecca started weaving while studying Fibre and Textile Arts in upstate New York. Since purchasing her first loom in 2012, she has discovered an affinity for traditional technique, colour, & pattern. She currently lives in Brooklyn.

Ceramacist
Wai-Yant Li has been throwing ceramics on the wheel for over a decade and we are so lucky that they take time away from their highly successful line of Creation Li critters to collaborate with us on plant hangers and other ceramic goods.

Shipping delays due to COVID-19
Please note that all postal services are experiencing severe delays during these challenging times. The estimated arrival times for regular delivery are extended and items with tracking no longer have guaranteed delivery windows. The free shipping included in the price of the item is for a method without a tracking number, so upgrading will provide you with one.
