My little story ♡

After a trip to Southeast Asia in 2020 lasting several months, which was shortened by Corona, I started to look for a creative balance back in Germany. I had saved a few ideas on my Pinterest board that I wanted to implement at some point. Among them were decorative elements made of polymer clay, an oven-curing modeling clay. In spring/summer 2020, I familiarized myself with the material and experimented, mixed colors, learned various techniques, sanded, polished and much more. Since August 2020 I have my online shop with my handmade jewelry made of polymer clay.

The social aspect is also very important to me. Which is why I decided to donate 1€ per product sold to a social organization of your choice. Via my Instagram account @bloomandboomstudio you can propose a social organization every 6 months and vote for it. Currently, the donations go to the Afghan Women's Association e.V. This association is a humanitarian aid organization that has been active since 1992
works for reconstruction and peace in Afghanistan, mainly supporting women and children from rural areas.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

⋒ Please do not take the jewelry made of polymer clay with you for showering or bathing, as the material is rather water-shy⋒ If the jewelry gets dirty, e.B. by make-up, please simply clean it with a damp cloth. If this does not help, simply soak a cotton swab in acetone (e.B. contained in nail polish remover) and clean the jewel very carefully.⋒ If you decide to give your jewelry some time off, it's best to keep it in a dry and closed place (such as the included jewelry box)

Gift wrapping and packaging

⋒ The jewelry is delivered in a jewelry box and packed in tissue paper. So they are immediately ready to give away or to make themselves a little joy and unpack themselves.⋒ By the way, I don't use plastic packaging.

Creation process

⋒ My products are always unique, as each piece is made by hand, i.e.:- I mix the colors myself- prepare the modeling clay, i.e. knead, knead, knead until a nice smooth mass is created- cut out/cut out the geometric shape and refine the edges- curing in the oven- grinding and polishing to eliminate unsightly edges again- if necessary, incorporate ear studs into the modeling clay- drilling and, of course, assembling the individual parts- last but not least, photograph and adjust 😊 the piece of jewelry

Completely imperfect ♡

⋒ Every single step is taken with love and each individual piece has its own character, so there are slight deviations between the respective pieces of jewelry. This means, for example, that the patterns of the individual pieces of jewelry may differ from those in the photo shown. Even with the most careful work with polymer clay, it can sometimes happen that slight irregularities occur, such as .B small air bubbles.⋒ Handmade also means to be completely imperfect and I think that's exactly what makes every single piece unique!⋒ The product you receive is therefore truly unique. Therefore, please take good care of it. ♡
