Designs that bloom

My name is Jade. I’m crazy about plants. And nature in general.

As a child, I loved to draw. Many, many hours were spent drawing pictures that featured on our fridge… all masterpieces, I’m sure! I was also the one that used to bring in one of my most recent artworks for show and tell each week - much to the class' despair.

After I graduated, I started working in social media / digital marketing. Although I loved it, I was desperate to find a way to disconnect. Suddenly, I found myself creating again. I was trying all kinds of crafts, all the time. There were highs and lows; I learnt that I will never be able to knit, but papercraft was most definitely my thing.

It was several years until I found myself back with a paintbrush in my hand. Inspired by my time working in a very famous botanic garden, I loved painting the unique and vibrant plants that I saw.

In 2019 I decided that I wanted to make something more of my passion. After brainstorming over a few glasses of rhubarb gin, Blooming Typical was born. And it’s all about creating designs that are inspired by nature – animals, plants, landscapes and even the stars.

Why ‘Blooming Typical’? Well, I hope to create designs that bloom and brighten even the most typical of days.

I hope you enjoy browsing my store, and find something that you just love.

Hi, I'm Jade 👋 Nice to meet you. I create designs based on my own paintings. Beautiful plants, animals, tasty coffee, notebooks, nature photography and time spent creating - just a few of the things that I love the most.

Items are dispatched within 1-3 working days via Royal Mail (Second Class), this does not include tracking. There is an option to upgrade to First Class at checkout.

Royal Mail aim to deliver Second Class Mail within 2-4 working days, First Class is in 1-2 working days.

Delivery times are beyond my control and I can take no responsibility for delays caused by the post office.

An item will only be considered ‘lost’ after ten working days from its arrival due date. In the event of your order not turning up, I can't offer a replacement or a refund until these 10 days are up.

Traffic conditions, the weather, industrial action and volume of mail can all have an adverse effect on delivery time. Please play safe and order well in advance.

Most of your items arrive wrapped in blue tissue paper and bound with twine. If you'd like to send a gift straight to the recipient, let me know as soon as you've placed the order and I can include a handwritten note from 'you'.
