Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
I prefer payment with PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still use PayPal to pay with a credit card. If you wish to discuss alternate payment methods, PM me, and we may be able to work something out.

Any items purchased but not paid for after three days will be relisted.

If you live in Michigan, you will be charged 6% sales tax.
I ship with the US postal service on Tuesdays and Fridays. If I am notified that your payment has been made by 7 pm on Monday or Thursday, I will ship the next day. If not, your package will most likely wait until the next shipping day. Please keep this in mind when ordering! I do use tracking numbers, as a courtesy to you. I ship first class in single items in padded envelopes, made with recycled paper. For multiple items, the shipping container may vary.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy at any time, please PM me! I want to correct any issues you may have as quickly as possible. Unless I made a mistake and send you the wrong item, or there is a fitting issue, no items can be returned after 1 week of reciept. If you receive an incorrect item, I will pay shipping back to me, as well as ship you the correct item free of charge. If you decide that you would like to return an incorrect item for a refund, I will pay shipping, and the refund will be issued when the item is back in my hands. If a shirt does not fit or you want a refund, I will exchange it within one week of receipt of package, but I will ask you to pay the shipping on the returned item. If you want to exchange an item, I will send out the new item when I receive the first. All refunds on returns will be issued when I receive the item, as long as it is in the condition I sent it.

No returns on custom items.
Additional policies and FAQs
Sizing: My knitwear is mostly one size fits all women. For the children's t shirts, I have put the following in the listings: the size the shirt company has assigned them, the width from armpit to armpit, and the length from the back of the neck to the bottom of the shirt. Please measure your child, rather than relying on the company sizes. If you are buying for someone else's child, my best advice is buy something larger, because they will grow into it. If you are forced to use company sizes, based on my own children, they seem to run a little small. Also a shirt sized "12 months" means that at 12 months old, most children will have outgrown it!

Pricing: You may notice some objects have extremely different prices, for not looking so different. The reason is differences in materials and labor. For knits, a high quality commercial yarn is (generally) less expensive than a handspun yarn. For pouches, hand-dyed fabrics add a bit to the price. For t-shirts the number of shibori elements, the amount of wax resists, and the amount of dye baths will effect the final cost of the shirt. I am happy to answer any questions you have about pricing in a private message.

Custom Orders: PM me, and maybe we can work something out. Because my screens are my own design (except one is licensed from my sister), I will only make shirts using the screens you can see on my website, but you can customize sizes, colors, and the amount of shibori employed. Alternately, if you want a shirt without a print, say, just shibori, that would be fine, too. For pouches and bags, and knitwear, the sky is the limit, so... well, we can talk about it.

Because I have two small children, I can't promise anything will be done quickly - please allow 6-8 weeks for completion of custom orders.

Custom orders cannot be returned.
