I do not charge extra for more then one color unless you are requesting a specialty tulle.

Interested in adding ribbon please let me know and I will get a quote back to you ASAP!

EXPRESS MAIL-
If you are interested in upgrading to Express Mail its $25 extra. International orders are only being shipped on Monday - Thursday mornings.

Caring for your tutu -
Your tutu is traveling to far away locations and may get a little too comfortable and start conforming to the box it was shipped in. To get those pesky little wrinkles that I've yet to find away to prevent from happening, take your tutu out of the box, give it a good little fluff to try and straighten it out and hang it in a closet for a couple days. You'll be surprised how many of the wrinkles take care of themselves as long as you give it a little room to breathe.

If that doesn't work, I recommend taking a shower with your tutu. Place it on a hanger and hang it near the shower - DO NOT SOAK THE TUTU! close the doors and windows and take a hot shower. The steam should help.

Another option is lightly spritzing, and I do mean lightly, the tutu and then hanging it in the sun to dry.

Or you can use the steam function on an iron. KEEP THE IRON 6-8 INCHES AWAY from the tutu. An iron will MELT OR BURN tulle if it gets to close.

Not the DIY kind of person - take it to the cleaners they'll get the wrinkles out for you!

Tulle is a great fabric but its hand wash, hang dry or dry clean only.

I love this tu-tu. It will be a huge hit at Mardi Gras next week in New Orleans. Thanks so much for being so patient with me while I made up my mind. Thanks

We received this beautiful tutu right on time for my little one's 5th birthday party and it rocked! Everybody wanted to know where I got it from. Definitely buying again from this store to add more tutus to our photography business as well!

About

Tutu cute!

I opened my shop in November of 2009 - I had just entered the final trimester of my pregnancy with our third child and was nesting like crazy.

Blue Bassinet was supposed to focus on fun, inexpensive breast feeding covers and aprons.

In 2010, I moved away from breast feeding covers and started in on the tutu's after my daughter changed her Halloween costume 4 different times. Coincidentally, the tutu change out prompted a friend to ask me to make her a tutu as well - I took a chance and posted a now comically bad photo and its been tutu mania.

I always wanted to be a dancer, especially a ballet dancer, but to be honest it was only because I really enjoyed wearing tutus.
I still do! It's really hard not to smile at full grown woman wearing a tutu and it makes everyday chores that much better.

Wishing you a toasty, fun filled summer!

Each hand crafted item is made in my office a smoke-free, pet loving household. All of my fabric is stored in plastic storage containers away from my kids and animals.

I believe life is best lived with a smile on your face and how could you not smile at the sight of a full grown woman (or man) in a tutu.
