About

Hand Dyed British Yarn

In Britain we have a huge number of sheep. Some are common, some are rare, and each has different wool characteristics. British yarn has all sorts of wonderful uses and while the natural colours are lovely, sometimes you want something brighter. I hand dye British, non superwash yarn.

I am as environmentally friendly as possible when producing my yarn. I don't use superwash treated wool, I don't wrap my yarn in plastic to dye it, and I keep the quantity of water I use to a minimum.

I am happy to discuss custom orders, so if there's anything you want just drop me a message.

I've been crafting for my whole life. During my second year of university I returned to knitting and haven't looked back. I love local wool but couldn't find it in the colours I loved, so a few years ago started experimenting with dyeing my own.
