About

Her lace-impressed slabwork pottery has an individual appeal that is both distinctly Appalachian craft and creatively unique. Jayn has been making pottery for over 35 years, initially selling at craft shows with her then husband, Bob. She now markets her work online with the encouragement and help of her daughter, as well as at several craft stores and the Taubman Museum. She has a weekly booth at the Roanoke Farmer’s Market and has been a staple at the New Mountain Mercantile in Floyd for years.
